Wesley Edwin Gibbs Jr., 62, passed away Oct. 17, 2015.  He was born in Suffolk, the son of Lola E. Gibbs and the late Wesley E. Gibbs Sr. He retired as a self-employed welder.  Wesley was a member of the Smithfield Hunt Club for 44 years where he served as past president.  He was an outdoorsmen who loved gardening, hunting and fishing.
Including his mother, Wesley is survived by his brother, Ronnie L. Gibbs and his wife, Brenda; and nephew, Clifford L. Gibbs.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 21, 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s Memorial Park with the Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating.  Friends may join the family for a visitation Tuesday night from 5-7 p.m. at Parr Funeral home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk.  Memorial donations may be made to the Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
