The two best qualified

For more than 30 years, I was involved in county government, including more than seven years as county administrator. During that time, and in the y ears since, I don’t believe I have seen two more qualified candidates for local office than Sheriff Mark Marshall and Commonwealth’s Attorney Georgette Phillips.
Sheriff Marshall has in four years professionalized the office and created the first accredited Sheriff’s Department in the history of our county.
Georgette Phillips has served our citizens extremely well for 14 years as assistant Commonwealth’s attorney and Commonweath’s attorney. She has earned the endorsement of more competent and knowledgeable people than anyone I can remember in the 50 years since I became involved. This includes the unanimous endorsement of the Isle of Wight Bar Association and Sheriff Maarshall.
Georgette Phillips and Mark Marshall have served our county well and we will be well served to have them continue. Why would you vote for anyone else?
