I’ve known Carlos Turner for 18 years. We worked for the same agency for 13 years and at one point, we worked in the same division. Carlos was and still is highly respected in the area where he once lived and worked. As a 29-year veteran of law enforcement, I often see how people try to shine negative light on others to keep the light off themselves.
Citizens of Surry County, Carlos Turner is highly qualified to be your next sheriff. Carlos is well educated, he uses sound judgment and good common sense. He’s a good listener, a thinker and a problem solver. Carlos doesn’t react and make decisions based on his emotions. Carlos is the kind of law enforcement professional that is needed to bring people and communities together and to help improve everyone’s quality of life. Carlos is honest, has high integrity and moral values. He wants what’s best for everyone. Carlos’ persona definitely shows he cares. And, if you don’t believe me, spend a few minutes with him. I’m certain you’ll see what I see — a Passion for People.
