Elliott Bruce Simpkins joined his younger sister Alice and older sister Judy in heaven Dec. 7, 2015. By his side was his loving wife of 45 years along with his four daughters. Elliott was a very loving husband and father that was a very proud man. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family. He retired from Smithfield Packing after 40 hard years of work.

He left behind his wife, Betty; daughters, Cindy, Michelle and husband, Steve, Amanda and husband, Corey, Tina and husband, Jeremy; grandchildren, Philip Jr., Ryan, Emily, Emmie, Jax, Dom and Natalya, four sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 12, 3 p.m. at Church of Christ in Suffolk.
