Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 as amended that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Town of Windsor will hold the following public hearing on Tuesday February 16, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chamber on the following requests:


VAR-01-16 HOLLAND MEADOWS, INC. (Applicant/Property Owner) – Holland Meadows, Inc. is requesting from the required front property yard setback of forty (40) feet to twenty five (25) feet on the property at 24344 John Henry Street.  The purpose of the variance is to permit a residence to be built on the 21,089 square foot parcel in the Holland Meadows Subdivision.  The property is shown as Tax Map  054-013-035 on the Isle of Wight Tax Maps and is zoned MHP-C Mobile Home Park with Conditions.  This variance request is subject to the provisions and requirements of Sections 160-70 and 160-71 of the Land Development Ordinance of the Code of the Town of Windsor and all relevant portions of the Code of Virginia as Amended.  A variance is required for such encroachments into the otherwise required front yard setback.


The variance request is available for public scrutiny in the Town of Windsor Town Hall, Monday through Friday, or by contacting Mr. Dennis W. Carney, Planning and Zoning Administrator at (757) 242-4288 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Any interested citizens are invited to attend the public hearing at the aforementioned date and time and voice their opinions on the variance request.
