Nancy Susan Duck, 60, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, after a courageous battle with multiple melanoma.  Born in Suffolk, Nancy was the daughter of the late Belva Holland and Clarence H. Duck Sr. and lived her entire life in Smithfield.  In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by two sisters, Becky Wiggins and Belva Ann Duck, and two brothers, Clarence “Buddy” Duck Jr. and Joe Duck.

She graduated from Smithfield High School and attended Christopher Newport University. Nancy was a caregiver to her parents.  Respectfully, Nancy never met a stranger, was fun-loving and had a great sense of humor.

Nancy is survived by her brother, Mike Duck; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
