In execution of a Deed of Trust in the name of Dottie D. Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 28.2-1403 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, and the Coastal Primary Sand Dune Zoning Ordinance of Isle of Wight County, that the Isle of Wight County Wetlands Board will hold a meeting on Monday, October 16, 2017. A public hearing on the following application is scheduled to be considered:

The application of Philip D. and Julie A. Greene, owners, for installation of 82 linear feet of riprap revetment over 170 square feet of dune and/or beach on the shoreline of the James River, at 19111 Farm Road, Smithfield, in the Hardy Election District. The riprap will consist of bedding stone six inches thick over filter fabric, followed by 50-pound core stone and armor stone rated as Class Size I. The project will include embankment grading and embankment stabilization with plantings covering approximately 3,600 square feet above the riprap.

A copy of said application and Coastal Primary Sand Dune Zoning Ordinance are on file in the Department of Planning and Zoning, Isle of Wight Courthouse, Isle of Wight, Virginia and are available for public examination.

Any person desiring to be heard in favor of, in opposition to, or to express his views with respect to the aforesaid application may appear before and be heard by said Wetlands Board during the public hearing to be held in the Board of Supervisors Room, Isle of Wight Courthouse, Isle of Wight, Virginia, on Monday, October 16, 2017 beginning at 6:00 P.M.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, to consider for recommendation to the Board of Supervisors the following applications:
The application of Bay Sand Company, Inc., applicant, and Everets Properties, Inc./Charles H. Rose and Lynn K. Rose, owners, for a conditional use permit on 141 acres of land located on a private road off of Muddy Cross Drive, with tax parcel identification numbers 41-01-056 and 41-01-057. The purpose of the application is to allow for the expansion of the existing conditional use of resource extraction to be permitted on the property.

The application of East West – Benn’s Grant, LLC, applicant, and East West – Benn’s Grant, LLC, Benn’s Church Properties, and Turner Farms, Inc., owners, for amendment to conditional zoning of 26.43 acres of land located at 15150 Benn’s Church Boulevard, on the property with tax map numbers 32-01-082 and 32-01-075A. The purpose of the application is to convert a portion of the designated commercial property and open space area to allow for 231 additional residential units.

An ordinance to amend and reenact the following sections of the Isle of Wight County Code, Appendix B, Zoning: Article IX, Signs; in order to make changes to the requirements for temporary and permanent signs.

An affidavit having been made that the whereabouts and post office address of Charles Lawrence, Fatima Muhammad (f/k/a Deborah Lawrence), Stacey Lawrence and Stanley Lawrence are unknown; that Jeffrey Lawrence and Bernard Lunon are nonresidents of the State of Virginia, and that their last known post office addresses are as indicated above; and that the last known post office addresses of Henry Lawrence, John C. Lawrence, Chester C. Lawrence, Charles Lawrence, Fatima Muhammad, f/k/a Deborah Lawrence, Bertha Lunon Lawrence, Lester Lawrence, Stacey Lawrence, Stanley Lawrence, and Antonio Lawrence, if living, are unknown, and the Complaint stating that there are or may be person interested in the property to be divided whose names and last post office addresses are unknown, such unknown parties being the widower and heirs, devisees and successors in title of Henry Lawrence, John C.
