Dollie Marie Britt Stanfield of Smithfield passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Born May 14, 1943 in Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late Percy Lee Britt and Betty Jane Saunders Britt. Dollie loved playing and listening to music with her brothers and sisters. Her passion in life was cooking and baking cakes. She worked at Little’s Supermarket and later opened Isle of Wight Courthouse Diner. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by a husband, Curtis Edwin Crocker Sr.; her sisters, Helen Fowler and Tiney Holt; and brothers, Dellano Britt, Boney J. Britt, Clifton Britt and P. Mack Britt. 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Tommy David Stanfield; sons, Curtis Edwin Crocker Jr., and wife, Gina, and Don Thomas Crocker, and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, David Wayne Crocker, and wife, Tracy, Gerri Lynn Addison, Daniel Edwin Crocker, Summer Craver, and husband, Eric, CaSandra Yarosz, and husband, Adam, and Tiffany Shafer, and husband, Robbie; great-grandchildren, David, Dylan, Leah, Dezihray, Kami, Cole, Gavin, Katie, Maddie, CJ, Natalie, Hunter and Shane; brothers, John A. Britt and Thomas J. Britt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held June 24 at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Wakefield Chapel. Burial will follow at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. Condolences may be posted at www.rwbakerfh.com.
