Carolyn Swindell, 86, died Jan. 30, 2021. A native of Baltimore, Md., she was the widow of Lawrence Albert Swindell Sr. Carolyn was involved in all aspects of the Smithfield Little Theatre. She is survived by two daughters, Denise Creech and husband, Jim, and Sheila Wright; son, Lawrence A. Swindell Jr. and wife, Nicole; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nephew, Michael Cockey.
