Gwaltney Lee Edwards Jr. passed Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021. He was the son of the late Gwaltney L. Edwards Sr. and Mary T. Edwards.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Bethany Cemetery, 13717 Bethany Church Road, Smithfield, with the Rev. Chris Andress officiating. R.W Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory in Suffolk is serving the family.
