Born Jan. 19, 1934. Passed – April 25, 2021.

Ola Gay – also known as – Mom, Mamaw, and Mimi occupied our hearts in a way no other could. She was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. We all are here for a short moment in time and Ola Gay made a difference in the time she had. She loved history and was an avid reader, gathering knowledge that surprised us all every time we spoke. Ola Gay was a lover of children of all walks of life and prayed for all children to always have enough to eat at our table blessing. An independent and strong lady that left us all better people. Rest in peace Ola Gay. We all love you so much.

Survived by husband Melvin R. Jordan, daughter Melody Jordan Phillips and husband Marc. Sons Melvin R. (Ray) Jordan, Jr., James Jason (Jay) Jordan and wife Kim. Five Grandchildren – Jordan Phillips Garrett and husband Tim, Jenny Elizabeth Phillips, Raymon Jones Jordan and wife Shelly, Tory Godley Grace and husband Ben, and Brittney Nocole Jordan. Five great-grandchildren, Lily, Mary Ella, Zack, Matt, Raylan.

A private family service was held May 2nd to honor Ola Gay’s last wishes.
