Mildred Pauline “Polly” Barlowe Roche, 96, of Newport News, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021.

She was the daughter of Charles Maynard Barlowe and Martha Gertrude Caish Barlowe. Mrs. Roche is survived by her daughters, Sandra J. Nelson (Gordon), Cindy Duck and Debbie Miller (Greg); grandchildren, Lisa Jones, Tommy Nelson, Christy West, Mathew Miller, Meredith Crouse, Jared Miller and Jenny Miller; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Evan, Quinn and Elijah. Mrs. Roche loved to travel, she loved to cruise, and she saw most every part of Europe and Asia.  She was an avid ballroom dancer and bridge player. She loved visiting her grandchildren and spending time with family.
