George “Pop” Leslie Goodrich, 84, passed away on Nov. 3, 2021, at his home. He was the son of the late Sarah and Ernest Goodrich and was predeceased by his wife, Hazel L. Goodrich.

George was one of the hardest-working men you could find. He loved to fish and was very proud of all of his sons. George started and ran Goodrich & Sons Tree Service.

George is survived by his four sons, Les Goodrich (Kim), George Goodrich (Marie), Terry Goodrich and Jerry Goodrich (Madeleine); grandchildren, Kasey Lee Goodrich, Tia Nicole Goodrich, Casey Robin Goodrich, Coty Dean, Ryan Marshall, Chris Rowe and Heather Kelly; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service conducted by Pastor Billy Gardner will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021, at Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Downtown Suffolk is serving the family.
