The Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly broke into the Raceway gas station on Carrollton Boulevard early Wednesday morning.

The suspect is described as a Black male, between 5-foot-8-inches and 5-foot-10-inches in height, with a heavy build, wearing a Boston Red Sox hat.

The suspect allegedly broke into the Raceway around 2:25 a.m. and drove away in a light-colored vehicle, which arrived from the direction of Newport News and returned in that direction when leaving.
