Smithfield Packers finish strong in youth sports track meet

The Smithfield Packers Youth Sports track team headed to Highland Springs High School in Henrico County for a May 15 meet. There, Ky’mari Jenkins and Nevaeh Wells each finished first in the 100 meter, while Jacoby Audette, Sky Carter and Hannah Jenkins finished second.
In the 200 meter, Wells finished first, Jenkins and Alexandria Washburn second, Jenkins and Jacoby Audette third, and Carter and Skyla Gurganus fifth.
In the 400 meter, Alayna Washburn finished third, Noah Owens and Alexandria Washburn each finished fourth and Gurganus finished sixth.
In the 800 meter, Alayna Washburn finished fourth and Noah Owens finished eighth.
