Editor, The Smithfield Times:

Regarding the article “Smithfield budget proposes car tax reduction” in the May 11 edition:  Great! Reduce it to zero!

I never understood why we have to pay rent to two different places, Isle of Wight and the town of Smithfield, just to own a vehicle.
