Chappell G. Eure, Sr. passed away on May 30, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia O. Eure, 6 children, several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

He retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was always happy visiting garage sales or anywhere else he could find a deal.  Chappell’s home was always Portsmouth, no matter where he lived. He loved to tell stories to whoever would listen.   A private ceremony will be held to celebrate Chappell’s life.
