Thank you in French, Merci.

Thank you: a polite expression of one’s gratitude.

Oxford’s description of “Thank You”: a noun, a polite expression acknowledging a gift, service or complement, or accepting an offer.

Cambridge English dictionary: “Thank you,” used to express appreciation to someone for offering or giving you something, for helping you, or for asking how you are.

Oxford’s description of the word “thank” stems from the Latin word “Tongere,” meaning “Think,” as in, I will remember what you have done for me!

Dear friends, how does one thank so many for so much? There are no words in any language to express the heartfelt gratitude that I feel toward all of you. Your generosity, thoughtfulness, kindness, empathy, prayers and, above all, your unconditional love and encouragement have brought me through a storm these past months, I could not have made it without you.  I am so blessed to have you in my life.

So, for now, for the lack of better words, I will say “thank you” from the bottom of my heart.
