The Smithfield Packers Youth Sports Track team attended the 22nd Atlantic Coast Invitational at Norfolk State University over the weekend. Athletes placing in their respective events were Za’Nijah Hinton, gold in 200-meter Hurdles; Zavion Knight, Amare Boone, Laythan Thompson and Jordin Shears, gold in 4×1 relay; Reagan Robinson, gold in 1500m and silver in 800m; Jordan Shears, silver in long jump; Laythan Thompson, silver in 100m; Nevaeh Wells, gold in 400m and silver in 200m; and Zyron Wells, silver in 100m and 200m and bronze in 400m.
