Anna Eliza Combs Dickerson, 97, of Smithfield, Virginia, formerly of Flint, MI, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Miller Combs and Rhoda Francis Dillard Combs. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Ann Peterson (William); son, Daniel Eugene Bailey (Janice); grandchildren, Jill and Jason; great grandchildren, Samantha, Anna, Tracy, Daniel and Brezlin. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Bailey and her second husband Elmer L. Dickerson; granddaughters, Aundrea and Jennifer. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to all. She enjoyed spending time with family talking about the country roads of West Virginia. She loved all her four legged pets and doing crossword puzzles while eating lemon pound cake and drinking a glass of coke. She will be greatly missed.
