Jack H. Snethen, 84, died January 8, 2023 leaving behind his wife, Joanne of 67 years of marriage.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jody Polombo, and parents, Jackson and Maxine Snethen.  Left to cherish his memories are 2 sons, Jay (LouAnne) Snethen of Suffolk, and Jim (Tina) Snethen of Gloucester, a son-in-law, Tony Polombo, 5 grandchildren, Jason, Travis, Amber, Ashley and Cameron, and 2 great granddaughters, Alisa and Morgan.

Jack retired after 21 years in the US Air Force, and again after 17 years of working at the Newport News Shipyard.  He enjoyed wood working and was an avid bicyclist.  He also loved going on cruises with his bride and spending time with family and friends.
