Evelyn Virginia Munford, 100, died peacefully in her sleep, January 13, 2023 at her home. She is predeceased by her husband, H.E. (Doc) Munford; a son, Herbert M. Munford, II; and a daughter, E. Ann Murden; and her parents, Lloyd Lafayette Edwards and Luberta Gwaltney Edwards; and nine siblings.  She is survived by a daughter, M. Susan Huber; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.  Mrs. Munford recently celebrated her 100th birthday on November 6, 2022.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who will be greatly missed.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, 2 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be private in Central Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
