James Kenneth Stevens, 78, of Smithfield passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023. He was the son of the late Kenneth James Stevens and Velma Zerbee Stevens. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Dorothy Ann Clark Stevens, his sisters Nancy and Debbie, and his brother Ronnie. He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Marie Stevens; sons, Christopher Allen Stevens (Janice) and James Kenneth Stevens, Jr (Nita); sisters, Posie and Peggy; and brothers, Bill, Norman and Joe. Mr. Stevens was an active member of Trinity United Methodist church and he actively volunteered in his community with many activities. He enjoyed indulging in his Lionel model train hobby and 1954 Chevy’s. He will be interred beside his wife at St. Luke’s Memorial Park, Smithfield, Va.
