Editor, The Smithfield Times:
The Smithfield Times and Virginian-Pilot newspapers reported that one Jesse Hanson has been charged with larceny for allegedly stealing Chris Torre’s political signs. Hanson is the son-in-law of Renee Rountree.
The newspapers further reported that Rountree has been charged with receiving stolen goods.
Both crimes are punishable by up to a year in jail and a fine of $2,500.
According to the newspaper articles, Rountree describes these crimes as a “prank.”
What say ye, Rountree fans?
