State Police seeking info on hit-and-run suspect who struck 14-year-old on Benns Church Boulevard

Virginia State Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a hit-and-run suspect who they say struck a 14-year-old on Benns Church Boulevard early Saturday morning.
According to police, the 14-year-old was walking a motorbike along the highway at approximately 12:25 a.m. on Nov. 4 when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene. The 14-year-old was taken to Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News with life-threatening injuries.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who may have information about the vehicle that fled the scene. Anyone with information can call state police at #77 or 804-750-8788, or email questions@vsp.virginia.gov.
The crash remains still under investigation.
