Editor, The Smithfield Times:

Having to travel in the northbound lane over the James River Bridge has not been pleasant for some time, just knowing what awaits you as you start to traverse the draw section of the bridge.  

Yes, I’m speaking of the raised steel plate that sent shock waves through the vehicle. Now it’s a pleasure passing over the draw. VDOT, you did an outstanding job.
