Jamison Neal Collins

Jamison Neal Collins, affectionately known as Jamie, passed away at home on March 29, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 3, 1970 in Newport News, VA to Wade M. Collins and Sue S. Collins.

Jamie was an avid gardener and loved to talk about gardening.  He had a passion for his 1994 Jeep Wrangler and enjoyed making everyone laugh.  Most of all he loved to spend time with his family.

Jamie was predeceased by his parents. Left to cherish Jamie’s memory is his loving wife, Melissa Collins; children, Kasey Collins and Kayleigh Collins; brother, Jeffery Collins, nephew, Joseph Collins (Meranda); great-nephew, Landon; and in-laws, Marc and Peggy Grimes.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 4th at 6:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4759 Bennetts Pasture Rd, Suffolk, VA 23435. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3rd at 6:00 PM. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel is entrusted to Arrangements.
