Annie Mary Vineyard, 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 surrounded by family and friends. She was born on September 15, 1929 in Carrsville, Virginia to the late, Jasper and Thelma Piland Johnson. She was predeceased by her first husband, Rufus Richards; son, Vernon “Roy” Richards; and son-in-law, Dean Kimball.

 Annie was a longtime member of Point Harbor Church. She volunteered for thirty years crocheting baby blankets for the Navy/Marine Corps Relief Society. She was a farmgirl at heart, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

 She is survived by her husband of thirty years, Homer Vineyard; daughter, Phyllis Richards Kimball; grandchildren, Terry Kimball (Kendall) and David Kimball (Corrie); great grandchildren, Eric, Kristen, Alyssa, Emma, Crystal, and Cody; and many other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Point Harbor Church. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM Monday at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel.
