GO Car Wash, a nationwide chain with more than a dozen Virginia locations, is the latest business to open its doors in The Crossings at Bartlett Station’s commercial phase.

The Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 10.

General Manager Nate Heltman said his facility uses state-of-the-art automation. If you’re a member, a license plate reader at the gate scans your license plate, retrieves your membership package and directs you to attendant loading. But it isn’t just for members and there’s still a human presence.

“We have two lanes open now,” Heltman said.

Each has an attendant on duty to help non-members.

Heltman said his car wash also has 10 blowers and two knife blowers to ensure cars are dry when they exit.

GO Car Wash’s Community Heroes Program will offers free wash days for teachers, health care workers, first responders, veterans and more. The free wash day for teachers will be May 6.

According to a Chamber of Commerce news release, the name “GO” is intended to reflect a fast, reliable, always-on-the-move mindset, helping customers head to their next destination with confidence. Services include a range of single washes, unlimited wash memberships, gift cards, prepaid plans, and free access to vacuums, towels, and glass cleaner.

Heltman said he has 10 employees. The business is open 7 a.m. to 8 p. m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

GO Car Wash is located at 14237 Lori Ann Way, Carrollton. Other businesses that have opened in The Crossings include a Royal Farms gas station and convenience store, a branch of Langley Federal Credit Union and the Publix supermarket that opened in January. Its residential phase, which is approved for up to 240 condominium units and 52 detached homes, broke ground in 2021.
