A gathering of teenagers in Carrollton ended with shots fired, though Isle of Wight County sheriff’s deputies say no one was hurt.

Master Deputy Alecia Paul, a spokeswoman for the Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office, said deputies responded late on May 17 to a residence in the 100 block of Deep Water Way, roughly a half-mile from Carrollton Boulevard, in response to a complaint about loud music and possible underage drinking. Arriving deputies say they heard four gunshots, secured the scene and determined there were no injuries.

Paul said that parents were called to pick up their children and that charges are pending.
