Thank you SO VERY MUCH for your beautiful article last week (“15 years of Windsor Castle Park”) giving a well deserved tribute to Lawrence Pitt. 

Smithfield’s benefactor who made this possible, Joseph Luter III, said he was and is delighted with how the park trails so perfectly reflected the very natural and peaceful environment he treasured. For way too long Lawrence’s vital leadership and impeccably professional work designing and building the Windsor Castle Park to realize Mr. Luter’s vision was paid far too little attention by us Smithfieldians, and now it is so very good to see him recognized for his great contributions that will be enjoyed by many for generations to come.
