Smithfield Kiwanis Club, with support from our Key Club members from Isle of Wight Academy, hosted its annual Santa Breakfast at the Smithfield Center. Parents and their children got to meet with Santa and have a hearty breakfast before heading to the Smithfield Christmas Parade. Club members are pictured preparing the serving line, along with Santa briefing his Key Club Elves, and some of the folks who joined us for this event.  Of course, children meeting Santa was a real treat. Anyone If interested in joining Kiwanis is welcome at its Thursday meetings at 12:30 p.m. at Smithfield Station. Enjoy fellowship and lunch and consider becoming part of an organization dedicated to serving the youth in the community. There are generally speakers on the second and third Thursdays of the month.
