The Smithfield Packers Youth Sports 06U Flag Blue team traveled to Plant City, Florida last week for the 2023 United Youth Football League championships. The Packers fell to both the TCU Bulldogs and the Winder Haven Wolverines on Thursday, and the Texas Tarheels and DFW Hawks on Friday.  Pictured from left are Charles Jenkins, Boyce Farmer, Wyatt Brake, Weston Brake, Elliot Alvarado, Calvin Martin Jr., Kyrie Wiggins, CaTai Clary, Paxton Brake, Sutton McCormick, Axel Snyder, Kaysen Oliver andJayce Townsend.
