Donald J. Long passed away in Newport News on Saturday, July 25, 2015. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Suzanne Long; sister, Betty Long Dunn; many special nieces and nephews; and two special cats, Boots and Little Bit.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 30, from 1 – 2 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home in Newport News.  The service will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Lee Hess with entombment at Peninsula Memorial Park Mausoleum.
