Gary Lee Hoskinson, 72, died July 16, 2015.  A longtime resident of northern
Virginia, he was a retired auto mechanic.  He was an U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and member of Smithfield VFW Post 8545.  He is survived by his sister, Linda H. Boten, and numerous cousins.
A funeral service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 10 a.m. in Albert G. Horton Jr. Veterans Cemetery by Chaplain Herb DeGroft.  Contributions may be made to Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, Horton Wreath Society, or VFW Post 8545. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com.
