There are children going hungry this summer. The Wounded Warriors and their families need assistance. The food banks are getting empty and the Cancer Society needs money for research.

It seems to me that the money spent on preserving old outbuildings at Windsor Castle Park can be spent on a better cause. I have mentioned four good causes already and I’m sure there are many others.

What is more important — people’s lives or some old buildings? It is time for the town of Smithfield to put people’s lives first and old buildings last.
