Linda Ann House, 54, passed away Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, after a brief illness. Born in Williamsburg on June 10, 1961, Linda was the daughter of the late Roland D. Jr. and Muriel A. Bazemore House.  

Linda was a certified nurse’s assistant for a number of years and retired from Eastern State Hospital in Williamsburg. A woman of many accomplishments and a determination that wouldn’t quit, Linda suffered a stroke at age of 32 and was wheelchair-bound.  Some eight years ago, Linda got up out of the wheelchair and walked again.

Preceded in death by her parents, Linda is survived by her twin sister, Brenda Sue House.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 20, 1:30 p.m. in Riverview United Methodist Church with the Pastor Michael Guminsky officiating. A visitation and dinner will follow in the church social hall.
