NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 as amended that the Planning Commission of the Town of Windsor will hold public hearings on Wednesday September 23, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chamber on the matter described as follows:

 

LAND DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE ZONING MAP CORRESPONDING TO THE TOWN OF WINDSOR LAND DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE THAT IS UNDER CONSIDERATION-  The proposed Land Development Ordinance Zoning Map or “Zoning Map” which indicates the location and configuration of the various zoning districts with their new names to correspond to the proposed Land Development Ordinance where applicable is proposed for public review.  A clarification and realignment of the various locations of public properties within the Town in the P Public District and reallocation of properties with a non-governmental purpose to appropriate districts is a part of this Zoning Map. 

 

The Land Development Ordinance Zoning Map is available for public scrutiny in the Town of Windsor Town Hall, Monday through Friday, or by contacting Mr. Dennis Carney, Planning and Zoning Administrator at (757)242-4288 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

 

Any person wishing to be heard in favor of or in opposition to or to express his or her views on the aforementioned Land Development Ordinance Zoning Map may appear before and be heard by the Planning Commission of the Town of Windsor at the above stated time and place of the aforementioned public hearing.

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 to consider for recommendation to the Board of Supervisors the following application:

The request of Gregory Scott Butler to add 40.26 acres of land to the Longview Agricultural/Forestal District.  Said property is located on Bob White Road (Rt. 652) and Bowling Green Road (Rt. 644) in the Windsor Election District.  The parcel being requested to be added is identified as Tax Map Parcel 39-01-064D.

 

Copies of said application is on file in the Department of Planning and Zoning at the Isle of Wight County Courthouse Complex, Isle of Wight, Virginia, and are available for public examination.

            It is ORDERED that this Order be published at least once a week for two successive weeks in the Smithfield Times, a newspaper of general circulation in Isle of Wight, Virginia, and that the parties named herein appear at 10 a.m. October 14, 2015, in the Isle of Wight Circuit Court Clerk’s Office and do what may be necessary to protect their respective interests.
