The Newport District needs to have a Supervisor who has studied and understands our existing Comprehensive Plan. William McCarty has done that. Mr. McCarty has come up to speed on this County’s economic development, water and infrastructure needs and has studied the County’s budget. He has done his homework and will exercise independent, educated judgment on the critical issues that face us now and in the future. He will not need anyone to tell him how to vote. 

Mr. McCarty will restore the trust between the County and our valued volunteers at Carrollton and Windsor Volunteer Fire Departments. He will work to regain the trust of the Town of Smithfield officials and work closely with the School Board. The supervisor’s job requires many hours of homework each week to be informed and prepared. Mr. McCarty will do the work.

William McCarty is a serious candidate who will be his own person and make the policy and personnel decisions to move our County forward.
