Surry County deserves Michael Bailey for sheriff. He has served for 22 years as a Surry County deputy sheriff. During those years, Michael has proven his loyalty, dedication and commitment to the citizens of Surry County.

Michael is a life-long resident of Surry County, an as a Surry County native, he has witnessed the growth and improvement of Surry County first-hand ,and knows the needs of the county and its citizens.

He is committed to improving the safety of the citizens of Surry County. Michael has a sincere love for Surry and its citizens and a strong desire to help.

Michael is equipped to lead. He has the experience, knowledge and skills necessary to serve as Surry County sheriff in preserving the peace and protecting the life and property of its citizens. He has served as patrol sergeant supervisor for the last five years with the Surry County Sheriff’s Department.
