Just a few words in support of DeeDee Darden. DeeDee is the hardest working member of our board, both on and off the board. She is a person of unquestionable integrity and her only interest is the good of all the citizens of Isle of Wight. I have worked with her for almost four years and what she brings to the board in knowledge and caring cannot be replaced. I believe it would be in best interest of Isle of Wight County and the citizens to re-elect her.

Just in case you think our job was easy, a total of purchases was $299,326,000 plus when we took office. That’s 200 million plus. Thanks to staff and members of our board we lowered our bond rating interest rate and saved the citizens millions and still paid on this huge debt.

In closing I want to thank you for trusting me as a supervisor. I have the interests of citizens and their welfare at the for-front of my actions for last 4 years.
