Lawrence Pitt is the person who is needed on the Board of Supervisors representing the Smithfield District. Lawrence and I served on the Smithfield Town Council together — he as vice mayor and I as mayor. I could always know that before he cast a vote, he sought information from many sources, always wanting the best for his town. Our much-enjoyed Windsor Castle Park was planned, designed, and the construction managed, by Lawrence Pitt. He was the project manager for the restoration of Historic St. Luke’s, the restoration of the Courthouse of 1750 and the project manager for the public restrooms on Main Street.

I will be voting for Lawrence Pitt because I know he wants the county of Isle of Wight to be the best it can be. His management skills and experience in local government prepare him to work with the Board of Supervisors and two Town Councils to take Isle of Wight on the path of cooperative improvements for the county. I know that he will continue to be thorough in all decisions and will bring new ideas to the county.
