Mr. Albert Burckard has been a voice for the people of Isle of Wight County. He is present at county meetings. He has been boldly involved for many years and is already knowledgeable about county issues and staff players and will try to restore morale.

Mr. Burckard has lived in Isle of Wight for 340 years. He has energetically and passionately given thousands of volunteer hours to Isle of Wight County through the Carrollton Volunteer Fire Department, the Isle of Wight Historical Society, the Isle of Wight County Fair and Christian Outreach. He represents Vietnam veterans and tourism. He has made our county history come alive by making significant contributions not only to county tourism but also to our economy.

Our present board knew Mr. Burckard was there because he was a leader in opposition to ISLE 2040 and also hoped the county would dodge the Nike Park Road, Gatling Pointe water line.

Let’s show our support for a devoted citizen of Isle of Wight County by voting for Mr. Albert Burckard Nov. 3. He has proven his willingness to serve us over and over. His experience will make a difference.
