To be elected by the great people of the Newport District is both very humbling and a high honor that I take very seriously. I wish to thank all of the supporters that worked tirelessly throughout the day at the polls as well as putting out and then taking up our signs that were put out during the campaign season. Maggie Richard’s, my campaign manager, did an outstanding job coordinating and making sure that we ran a positive campaign and for that I am so grateful.

I would also like to thank Mr. Albert Burckard for all of his devotion, hard work and dedication to our community. He has been and will continue to be a valuable asset in our community.

I will do my best to be a person of high integrity and transparency working with the great people of our Newport District as well as the county as a whole. January will be here before we know it and I am excited about the opportunity to partner together in positive corrective action, with you, for our great county.

I want to also thank the host of people that challenged me, congratulated me and celebrated with us this past Tuesday Nov. 3. My commitment to each of you is to represent you in a way that will not embarrass you and I will work hard to bring your government back to you. Together in partnership we will make a difference! Let’s embrace our present, preserve our history and pursue our future together.
