William Robert “Robbie” Beacham Sr., 63, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015. Born in Little Washington, N.C., Robbie was the son of the late James E. and Willomae Brown Beacham.  He had been a resident of Isle of Wight most of his life and graduated from Smithfield High School.

Robbie was always a hard worker and all about being a good provider.  He was owner/operator of Beacham’s Home Service.  He passed his craft along to numerous young men, helping them realize their success in home construction.  Robbie always had a big heart for anyone in need and will be remembered for “giving you the shirt off his back.”  He volunteered often for the American Legion, Post 49, Smithfield.  He was a member of Smithfield Assembly of God and was a past youth director.

A beloved father, grandfather, and friend to all, Robbie is survived by his longtime companion, Shelia Musick; daughters, Shelia L. Beacham (Chris Davis), Connie B. Knight (Eric) and Maria Seidnitzer (Kevin); sons, William Robert “Robbie” Beacham, Jr., (Michelle) and Donald Musick (Brandy); grandchildren, Todd Stribling, Conner Knight, Mallory Sanders, Carson and Noah White and Emory Musick; siblings, Evelyn Phelps, Billy and Eddie Beacham and Lynda Baynor; and a host of extended family and friends.
