WINDSOR — Nannie Mae Pond Edwards, 84, passed away on Dec. 20, 2015. Born in Isle of Wight County, she was the daughter of the late John Allen Pond and Katie Wise. She is predeceased by her husband, Clarence Edwards and daughter, Shirley E. Moore.

Nannie was a loving homemaker and member of Bethany United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Lou Shelton (Carley); granddaughters, Courtney Amaral and Krystal Smith; sisters, Susie Lowry and Rosalee Baker; and brother, John Pond.
Her graveside service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 23, 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s Memorial Park in Smithfield, with the Rev. Michael Frank officiating. The visitation is Tuesday, Dec. 22, 6 – 7 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
