CHESAPEAKE — Brian M. Howard passed away on Tuesday, Jan.12, 2016. He leaves behind his wife, Ellen; children Emma and Benjamin Howard and Kevin Whitbeck; a sister, Laura Condon (Tommy) and his father, Ian (Jeanette).  He was preceded in death by his mother, Carla.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 23, 2 p.m. at Jolliff United Methodist Church in Chesapeake.  A reception will follow in the historic sanctuary area of the church.  

Burial will be private.  

The family suggests memorial contributions to Jolliff United Methodist Church, Youth & Children Fund, 1900 Jolliff Road, Chesapeake, VA 23321 or Benn’s United Methodist Church, 14571 Benn’s Church Blvd., Smithfield, VA 23430.
