Tamara Alicia Littlejohn, 44, transitioned to eternal rest on Friday, Jan. 22, 2016. She was born Oct. 29, 1971 in Suffolk to Burnadette Owens and the late Larry Littlejohn.

Tamara graduated from Smithfield High School in 1989 and attended Virginia State University. Prior to her relocation to Appomattox in May 2015, she was a partner of Victory Christian Church in Gaithersburg, Md. under the leadership of Pastor Dwayne Brewington, where she served faithfully on the hospitality ministry.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Ashley Littlejohn of Gaithersburg; soon to be son-in-law Brandon Hall of Upper Marlboro, Md.; mother and step-father, Quintin and Burnadette Owens of Carrollton; four sisters, Dawn Littlejohn Smith of Raleigh, N.C., Leslie Littlejohn of Chattanooga, Tenn., Shawn Littlejohn of Chicago, Ill. and Kristin Littlejohn of Columbia, Tenn.; one brother, Jason Littlejohn of Bradenton, Fla.; sister-in-law JoAnna Littlejohn of Bradenton; brother-in-law, Randolph Smith of Raleigh, N.C.; three nieces, Amber Geer Jones of Chula Vista, Calif.; Maya Littlejohn and Emma Littlejohn of Bradenton; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The celebration of life service was held Jan. 30 at Shivers Funeral Chapel in Smithfield.
