Rockers Damn Jankes perform Friday, June 10, on the gazebo stage in downtown Smithfield.

The music begins at 8 p.m. and the concert is free. Bring a chair or blanket for added comfort.

Damn Jankes is an eclectic original/cover band — a “kitchen sink” stew of Americana, country, roots rock, rock ’n roll, blues, shuffles, pop, and even a little reggae, according to the band’s website.

This is the Summer Concert Series’ 30^th season. Sponsored by The Smithfield Times and the Isle of Wight Arts League, the event provides free entertainment each Friday from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
