Enjoy your favorite patriotic tunes Friday with the Peninsula Concert Band. 

The concert begins at 8 p.m. on the Smithfield Times gazebo stage in downtown Smithfield.

The concert is free. Bring a chair or blanket for added comfort.

The Peninsula Concert Band includes members of former military bands as well as civilians and have been performing in Tidewater for more than 60 years.

This is the Summer Concert Series’ 30th season. Sponsored by The Smithfield Times and the Isle of Wight Arts League, the event provides free entertainment each Friday from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
